Last week, three of our Simply Thank You colleagues, Sophie, Caroline, and Emma, headed over to the Netherlands for an exciting visit with our long-standing flower supplier, Kurt Schrama. This partnership has been blooming for nearly 30 years, and this trip was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect, see the incredible work behind the scenes, and explore what’s new in the world of fresh flowers.
It was amazing to see the flowers we send to our customers every day right at their source, starting with the growers and moving through the world’s biggest flower auction, which happens every single day. The process was absolutely seamless and truly eye-opening, giving the team a real appreciation for the amount of time, effort, and thought that goes into ensuring we bring the freshest flowers to our customers, every single day.
From walking through the bustling auctions to meeting the dedicated growers responsible for cultivating each beautiful bloom, the team saw first-hand the care and craftsmanship behind every bouquet we deliver.
